書中的主角是位小女生，她的名字是Daisy，她的阿姨要結婚了，希望Daisy能當小伴娘，但是她不喜歡打扮，媽媽告訴她，如果妳沒有穿禮服，每個人都會覺得很可惜喔!
從不打扮的Daisy調皮的想了一些很有趣的衣著，像是潛水服或是豹紋的衣服!
在阿姨和媽媽的說服下，她答應了，決定要去禮服店試穿小伴娘的衣服；在她改變主意前，阿姨和媽媽趕緊帶她到禮服店；她試穿了每一次禮服，沒有一件是她喜歡的，在所有人束手無策時，Daisy有一個好主意，她想設計她自己的禮服。
從禮服店回家後，她就拿出紙筆，開始設計她的禮服，也在門口留著小紙條，希望大家別打擾她，把晚餐留在房門口就好!
到了阿姨結婚當天，她穿著她自己設計的衣服，很多口袋可以放confety(這個是各個形狀的小紙)，可以撒在禮堂上，頭上綁著忍者的頭帶，相當逗趣!英文的內容描述:

我的讀後心得(書評) :
這本書很特別，雖然Daisy無法找到自己喜歡的衣服，但家人並不勉強她；有很多的領悟，以前的年代裡，家長都會強迫小孩接受他們所認為好看的衣服或是事情；其實Daisy設計的好壞並不是重點，讓小孩子能夠有多的想法做他們想做的事，我想這蠻重要的，很簡短的心得，希望大家會喜歡!
